Roland Bellido
BHS Accredited Coach, Roland Bellido, provides riding tuition to those with their own horses. He predominantly teaches in the New Forest area but covers the south coast of Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex providing lessons for novices to competitive riders up to BD Advanced Medium, BE Intermediate Horse Trials and BS Foxhunter.
Roland is passionate about teaching and has a teaching style that blends a calm demeanor with a no-nonsense approach. His focus is on motivating riders to push themselves towards their personal or competition goals, instilling them with the confidence and inspiration needed for success.
Roland's teaching philosophy revolves around creating an enjoyable learning experience for both the horse and rider. He introduces a variety of exercises and challenges to keep lessons engaging and rewarding. Roland believes that a key to progress is taking the lessons beyond the arena. He ensures that riders leave each session with new ideas and exercises to work on as "homework" between lessons, ensuring continuous growth and development.
Whether you're a novice looking to build confidence or an experienced rider striving for competitive excellence, Roland is the instructor who will be your ideal mentor to accompany you on your equestrian journey.

Sometimes all three in one lesson! ” Kate McHugh
